The location is fantastic! If you are looking for a quiet Agriturismo in rural Italy, this is it! It is about 1.5 hours to Florence by car and 1 hour to the coast. The hotel's location is wonderful. It's on top of a hill, and to get there you have to go through an unpaved road on grassy hill where hundreds of sheep roam. The hotel itself is in an ancient farm which keeps you warm in winter and I guess it keeps you cool in summer. Our room, which had a flower name instead of a number, was huge and extremely comfortable. Excellent breakfast! Homemade cakes of all sorts. Lovely.

Claudia, whose family owns and runs the winery and accommodations, couldn’t be a better hostess. Her English is excellent, she is warm and accommodating, and she is happy to help in whatever way you need. The scenery is beautiful and they take great pride in running their winery, in which the accommodations are located. The breakfast is very good - bread, cakes, fresh fruit, meats and cheeses, great cappuccino freshly made by Claudia on request, and the best, fresh juice we have ever had. The room was large and clean. The bathroom was good sized, clean and updated. The shower is a bit small but worked well for us. They have a washer and dryer you can use at no additional cost. We hope to come back and stay here again. Also take the winey tour and tasting - well worth it!
