Phenomenal B&B in northern Italy! Easy patio access, onsite restaurant (with excellent food and service!!! and a spectacular view!), easy and safe parking, remote and quiet, very clean and comfortable, and a delicious brunch! Room was a standard European size, comfortable bed, great water pressure with unlimited hot/cold water. Easy drive into town. We felt like the B&B (and especially the restaurant) was a hidden gem unless you knew about it from locals. Great stay!

A very nice place, close to the little village Portese and a 15 minute walk from the nearest beach. Very beautiful area, and we enjoyed living in an ancient farm building. Very kind hosts.

In the mountains, in middle of nowhere in the forrest, 15 min drive (steep hilly road) from the lake you’ll find a old family owned farm with very nice agriturismo facilities. The actual lodge (totally new build) is 200m away from the farm. And the restaurant (breakfast and diner) lies 5 minute walk from the lodge. Very friendly staff, comfortable rooms, beautiful pool and really nice food. No mass tourism. Just eco friendly. Do it!

Agriturismo Podere Nigriona could have the best view in Salò from the lush garden. But that's not all. Spacious living, great equipment, a really comfy bed... I'll could go on forever. Sunbeds and always warm bath cup in the garden for the sunny days. Just a couple of minutes from city centre. A must in Salò.

Agriturismo Milord met all of our expectations. We arrived to be met by Christiano who showed us to our spacious room. My husband quickly changed and jumped into the pool and I was greeted by Mayer, who wanted a ball throwing session. That evening we drove into Salò and ate at a local restaurant, recommended by Christiano. The breakfast is perfect. The bed is super comfortable and everything spotlessly clean. We enjoyed 3 nights and spent most days sightseeing the area and a boat trip to Sirmione. I bought 2 lovely bottles of olive oil produced from Christiano’s olives and we left with a bottle of wine, as a gift. All in all we had a lovely stay. I can highly recommend if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the lake. We never walked, always took the car to Salò so cannot comment on how long it would take to walk.

The place is really lovely, nice swimming pool and garden, the right facilities to relax after a day walk elsewhere whether shopping or hiking.

La Scala literally exceeded our expectations! Previously, we had some bad experience with accommodation in Italy so we did not expect much but this was really great! Location is just perfect - few minutes by car to the beautiful city Salo and great spot for exploring Lago di Garda from each side, huge garden, animals, romantic views. Room is very cosy, spotlessly clean, we slept like babies there :-) Very good breakfast with some home made products and fresh coffee. We stayed only for two night but I can imagine to stay longer and enjoy the property and garden, just for having a coffee, wine and reading the book for example :-) Andw what is the most important - very nice and helpful owners! Thank you, we will come back to try the dinner as well! :-)
