When staying on the Amalfi Coast, as beautiful as it may be, it always comes with its set of challenges. With this accommodation, it was an absolutely perfect stay. Cetara was a place that fit the bill perfectly- it was just big enough to have plenty of places to go and areas to wander. This particular accommodation was in a location so perfectly placed, where you were able to savor a view so spectacular and wander grounds that were absolutely magical. Our room was within lemon groves, apricot trees, wild olives, figs... everything about it, just astounding. The room expertly done, being minimal but had aspects of tradition and modern elements expertly combined. We had our own small patio, perfect for an aperitivo along with a balcony wrapped in grapevines off the main room. Its location was a robust hike to town, about 20-25 minutes which can be a rarity when staying in Amalfi- access to town AND a killer view from above. Enter our host, Nicola, an elegant, warm, intelligent and kind gentleman who was a pleasure to speak with. He was communicative and helpful at every turn. Nicola ran the grounds along with managing the accommodation. We were lucky enough to be there on a night where the chef was available and took up his offer of dinner at the booking- INCREDIBLE! The menu was based on what he was able to grab from market to be the freshest and best for the day. It did NOT disappoint. Our breakfasts were always amazing, filled with wonderful pastries, jams, cheeses and cured meats. The breakfast room- another space so tastefully done which maintains the original layout of the location but with subtle modern touches. The onsite pool is bigger than it looks in the listing picture and was a wonderful are RARE amenity to bookings on the Amalfi coast. We also had an excellent outdoor space for a picnic lunch after a hungry visit to a local supermarket. I've found my magical place in Amalfi. I hope to return soon. Thank you Nicola!

We visited this property a month ago and we are still amazed by whole experience. The hosts and people working on this property are amazing! I have never felt more welcomed anywhere while travelling, it was like we were visiting family. They are polite, kind and always reaching out to help. From the first moment when we arrived and one of the hosts came by his car to pick us up so we don't struggle uphill with suitcases to the moments where we were hungry in the late evening and they made us pizza and brought it to our room. It truly feels like they enjoy doing this and there is always positive & friendly atmosphere. Place is quiet and nature is amazing. Food was also perfect! In the morning we had great juice, coffee and bunch of Italian pastry (both salty and sweet), a lot more than you can eat and they gave us bags each morning to pack whatever we couldn't eat so we can bring it with us. That pastry came very handy when we were on the beach, exhausted from swimming and looking for quick snack. In the evenings, we enjoyed dinners in the garden. We had different types of homemade pasta & pizza each night and each one was very delicious! I wish I could eat it now! Breakfasts were included in the price and dinners were very cheap compared to prices on Amalfi coast. Rooms were great and clean, with a nice view and AC working perfectly, also there was protection from bugs on windows so at night we kept our window open and it was pleasant. There was 1 bathroom per 3 rooms, so we naturally expected to be a bit more messy, but they maintained it very clean and we hadn't had issues using shared bathroom. All in all, we would definitely go back!

It's a very pleasant place surrounded by nature. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend trying their food; the products are truly natural and extremely tasty. We had dinner at the hotel, and the chef's own pasta recipe was delicious. I definitely recommend it for a calm and peaceful atmosphere.

The room was very clean and spacious. It had a beautiful area that was semi private out the back, which I believe they called a balcony, where you can sit and see a beautiful view. Restaurant was really good.

Definitely order a meal here! It is so authentic, the chef is passionate and uses his own ingredients! Honestly if this place was on the coast it would have a waiting list to get in, which is part of the gem that it isn't!
