The photos do not do this place justice! It is in an incredible setting with the surrounding mountains which was so quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The salt water pool is wonderful. The hosts were incredibly kind and friendly. Daughter, Sara, who speaks perfect English, gave us a little tour of the farm and introduced us to their sheep, chickens and geese which my daughters loved. Her brother gave us an interesting tour of his bee lab and showed us how they make their delicious honey. Their parents, Maurizio and Katia, were very welcoming - always around if needed but never imposing or in our way. There is a small on site restaurant, run by the family, and we had some delicious Tuscan dinners, out on the terrace, made from local produce including their own special tomatoes. The accommodations is basic but comfortable and clean. Fully recommend this place.

Locatia te poarta cu gandul la nobilime, la petreceri somptuoase in salon si plimbari in rochii vaporoase prin podgoria de vie.

Locatia este fabuloasa, cu un view grozav la lac. Drumul e destul de lung si sinuos pana la pensiune dar a meritat. Pastele carbonara de la cina au fost cele mai bune din Italia chiar daca pretul a fost maricel. Pensiunea este veche dar bine intretinuta, piscina e un mare plus desi noi nu am folosit-o. Multumim proprietarului pt sugestia cu outletul din vecinatate, ne-a placut mult.

First and foremost our hosts Tom and his family were so kind and welcoming. This is a beautiful historic home decorated with beautiful antiques in a beautiful part of the world. The breakfast was delicious and included fruit, yogurt, homemade jams, and fresh scrambled eggs. There is an old Roman road you can walk on right from the property. There is easy access to Lucca and other towns in Tuscany. We truly hated to leave this piece of heaven.
