Everything was lovely! The proprietors were gracious and loved the family ownership investment and vibe. The scenery and landscape were breathtaking. The grounds looked amazing, especially for an event. The food and wine were spectacular. My husband, son and I wanted a weekend away from Rome. We relaxed, drove to the coast to hike, visited Ancona, and the Grotto di Frasassi. Highly recommend this lovely agriturismo!!!

The location was good for what we needed. Our goal was to visit Senigallia for the annual summer Jamboree festival which is half hour drive away. It was a strategic location to keep the accomodation prices low as lodging in Senigallia is really expensive.

The property is located in the most amazing setting, you feel a bit like in a postcard, surrounded by nature! The hosts were very kind and gave us some great recommendations for the area. We will definitely be back! Just a note, if you want to eat there you need to let the hosts know beforehand, otherwise there are some great restaurants in the nearby villages.

We spent a wonderful week at Casale San Lorenzo and we loved it from the moment we arrived until we left a week later! Our hosts Carol and Nick were so nice, caring and friendly and open to all questions including fixing a reservation at a nearby restaurant one evening. Upon arrival they offered us drinks and some snacks, which was very welcome after a long drive in busy traffic. We added breakfast a few mornings and the freshly picked melon and figues were such a luxury to eat! We stayed in the apartment Girandole, plenty of space for the four of us. We spent quite some time in the swimmingpool and we all loved it, especially during those really hot days. Last but not least, we loved that we could pick fresh herbs in the garden, and the freshly picked vegetables we got - such as tomatoes, aubergine, pepper, cucumbers, beans and an onion - what a luxury! We will definitely recommend this agriturismo to everyone we know 😃
