Our 2-night stay at Stora-Asgeirsa was one of the highlights of our trip to Iceland. We (2 adults and 5-yr old child) stayed in the main guesthouse attached to the owner’s house. The accommodations we spacious and clean, with amazing views from all of the bedrooms. The standout of our stay was the wonderful hospitality from Magnus and his family who were always happy to chat about their life on the farm/in Iceland and to accommodate our animal loving son who had a blast interacting with the horses, dogs, kittens, and a very special friendly sheep. We would definitely come back here again and extend our stay in the future. Thank you for an amazing stay!

The owner Magnus and the employees working at the Farm are extremely friendly and we had a nice chat over a beer in the evening. Horse riding tour highly suggested. The studio has a small equipped kitchen and very good WiFi.

Owner was very hospital and opened up his personal bar found inside his farm and allowed me to assist with feeding his animals in the farm.

Staff was easy to contact and very helpful. She welcomed us outside the reception house when we arrived even it was a horrible snow storm night. Kitchen in room was well equipped with all the basic cooking tools and tableware we need. The bed is soft and spacious made the room felt comfortable.

It's in a remote area so was very nice to be away from the crowd. There is a stunning unpopular canyon 8 min drive from the property which is a must see. You can do horse ride, we skipped it as weather was very bad. Check-in was super smooth. Newly renovated apartment, very neat and clean. Also has kitchen. Service is good, if you message them, they get you whatever you need quickly.

The owner - Magnus - was very accomodating and was glad to show us around the barn - we saw the icelandic horses, sheep, the cutest looking kittens and two of the friendliest dogs. We spent the evening talking and drinking beer with Magnus. We were lucky to listen to his live performance as well (he has an amazing voice!!) and had a lot of fun.
