On the edge of the Brecon Beacons, these 4-star stone cottages have free internet and private parking. Tunnel Cottages at Blaen-nant-y-Groes Farm have a scenic location above Cwmbach.

The cosy cottages and studios feature heated flag-stone floors and most feature exposed beams and wood-burning stoves. All cottages have a private entrance and a barbecue area with wonderful countryside views.

It's the best place I've ever stayed, perfect location with great facilities. I'll be booking a week for next month if there's space!

The location of the farm at the top of a quiet road is really quite beautiful with woods and fields surrounding it with an excellent view out across a valley onto hills (weather permitting). Also, it is on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park so is perfect for exploring nearby attractions such as 4 Waterfalls hike and Pen-Y-Fan. The room was very cosy with well equipped bathroom and kitchen area. The underfloor heating a definite bonus.

We loved this place. The cottages had so much character and rustic charm, with a beautiful view over the valley below and the studios were clean and comfortable. Richard and Sheila were great hosts and very friendly. We will be coming back.

Lovely little cottage on a farm, even with a hot tub. With a sunny garden, the weather was gorgeous too. Very friendly owner and family close to where we wanted to visit and supermarkets not far away

Everything was amazing , the host , the location , the place and the little farm near by. Both owners were very helpful and gave us ideas on where to travel to in the area. Hot tub and garden was just so relaxing.

The cottage was amazing its set on a farm with brilliant views overlooking aberdare, it was home from home even my 2 year old daughter loved it. I will definitely be coming back, wish I had booked more days. We was over for a sad reason so didnt get to see any of the places or do any of the walks.

Very clean, nicely decorated room with small kitchenette in a corner. Lovely view across the fields from the terrace. Rural location yet close to Aberdare. A short drive to the Brecon Beacons. Nice walk along a disused railway line through the woods to the local pub.

It was very quaint and cosy, with wonderful views. It was also on the doorstep of the places we wanted to visit. Although we didn’t find it until too late, the barn social area looked great!
