Hotel City Break has a fitness centre, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Galaţi. This 3-star hotel offers luggage storage space. The photos, nor the description do do this hotel justice. This is a boutique hotel. When we arrived most of the doors on the floor below were open and I had a peek. Each room was a delight. Each different. We were in two bedroom apartment and it was massive. The bathrooms were lovely as was all the decor. There were two A/C units in the living room, as well as one in each bedroom and I have never seen that many sockets available anywhere. I couldn’t believe the value for money compared to our last hotel or that we were allow to stay for just one night. It’s a huge place to prepare for just one night stay at such a low price. They might adjust that policy as they did seem surprised we were staying only one night. This would make a brilliant base for someone working in this city and the wifi is certainly up to the job.

Happy Blue Apartament is set in Galaţi. Featuring mountain and river views, this apartment also has free WiFi. The apartment has facilities for disabled guests. There were 3 beds, a wash machine, and a coffee machine with 3 pods of coffee for us. The view is exceptional!

Zaga Zaga Sat in Tecuci features a garden and a bar. This campground offers air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. One of the most relaxing place to escape for a few days from the daily routine. We had a cozy bungalow that is quite big for 2 persons (can easily accommodate a family with 2 kids). Also, we enjoyed the terrace near the water and surrounded by willows. Each house is well integrated in the nature, a beautiful place. It worth renting a boat or hydro-bike for 24h and enjoy the lake and the charming channels at your own peace. You are the boat owner for 24h, can keep it near your bungalow and go to the resto by boat if you want. Bicycles are also available to rent, an adventure park and a mini zoo, a pool open in the summer and probably at least 2 days are needed to discover the entire property by walking. The food is tasty, prices very reasonable for the size and quality, and the stuff very kind and polite. The stuff at the reception is very friendly, we arrived 2 hours before the check in time but we received the room (this period is not very crowded). Also Booking and Zaga Zaga helped us to postpone the reservation with 1 day so thanks for that!
