בית ההארחה קאסה דאס אובראס (Casa Das Obras) ממוקם ליד סרה דה אסטרלה (Serra da Estrela), שוכן בבית אחוזה בן 250 שנה המתאפיין בריהוט היסטורי ואביזרים אמנותיים. כל חדר מוטיב הוא תזכורת לחיים בשנים עברו. The house is an old manor full of character and charm, right in the center of Manteigas. The room is very spacious, the heating works great and the bed is comfy. The staff is really friendly, and went above and beyond to provide vegan breakfast options for us, after we asked at the time of booking if there would be any. They got us plant milk, yogurt, cheese, butter and galantine, and even made delicious apple pastries and pancakes for us! That's on top of what I assume is their usual, "accidentally vegan" assortment of different kinds of bread, cereal, fruit and jams. We couldn't be happier.

מלון ברני (Hotel Berne) נמצא במנטייגאס (Manteigas) שבהרי סרה דה אסטרלה (Serra da Estrela), ומציע חדרים עם מרפסות שמשקיפות לעבר נופי היערות של סרה דה אסטרלה. Perfect location. Excellent breakfast buffet. Friendly staff.

מקום האירוח Quinta Lourena - Casa do Caseiro בקוביליה כולל נוף להרים, בריכת שחייה חיצונית, גינה, טרקלין משותף וטרסה. Breakfast was super nice, room is spacious, windows to the East… And it’s so cool to sit by the swimming pool with a view on a fruit garden!

Cristina was an amazing host. Very friendly and courteous. Every morning for breakfast, we enjoyed a basket with a variety of local products, that was brought to our door. We were also able to make requests at any time, which were dealt with immediately and got really nice recommendations of what to do in the area. The flat is located right by the stream and is perfect if you want to spend a peaceful and relaxing time in the nature. There is also a goat farm right next door, which can be visited, and the view from the apartment as well as the surrounding area is incredible beautiful. We were also able to use the bikes at any time, but a car is still recommended for travelling to the nearby villages and especially the nature reserve, which can both be reached in around 30 minutes. We really enjoyed our stay at Be Alva and would always come back!

All the elements have been thought through to combine into a perfect, authentic experience - you can tell the property owners have put heart, mind and soul into this project. Will 100% be coming back.

Fantastic little guest house. Awesome owner who couldn’t be more helpful and welcoming. He provided us with lots of great local information to assist us with our trip. Bedroom and bathroom were a great size. Breakfast was fantastic. Would recommend this little gem of a place to anyone.
