The house has been in the family since the 17th Century which made this an exceptionally interesting place to stay. We liked the mix of old antiques/ paintings and contemporary paintings by the owner’s brother. The breakfast was delicious with many sweet and savory choices. Playing billiards in this setting was certainly memorable. If the owner had offered a tour of the house with the history of the structure and contents we would have said yes. Also, there was a loud rock music band in the square nearby - we never heard it

Be Alva se encuentra en Oliveira do Hospital, en la región de Región Centro, a 36 km de Parque Natural Sierra de la Estrella. Cristina was an amazing host. Very friendly and courteous. Every morning for breakfast, we enjoyed a basket with a variety of local products, that was brought to our door. We were also able to make requests at any time, which were dealt with immediately and got really nice recommendations of what to do in the area. The flat is located right by the stream and is perfect if you want to spend a peaceful and relaxing time in the nature. There is also a goat farm right next door, which can be visited, and the view from the apartment as well as the surrounding area is incredible beautiful. We were also able to use the bikes at any time, but a car is still recommended for travelling to the nearby villages and especially the nature reserve, which can both be reached in around 30 minutes. We really enjoyed our stay at Be Alva and would always come back!

We've had a trully oustanding, wholesome and relaxing time at this property. All the elements have been thought through to combine into a perfect, authentic experience - you can tell the property owners have put heart, mind and soul into this project. Will 100% be coming back.

Solar dos Alperces - Serra da Estrela - Turismo de Aldeia, que tiene bicicletas gratis, jardín y salón de uso común, ofrece alojamiento en Travancinha con wifi gratis y vistas a la montaña. Fantastic little guest house. Awesome owner who couldn’t be more helpful and welcoming. He provided us with lots of great local information to assist us with our trip. Bedroom and bathroom were a great size. Breakfast was fantastic. Would recommend this little gem of a place to anyone.

Casa do Chefe, is gem of a location. Sandra and Pedro are incredible and truly made our stay here feel like home. The decor is fabulous and truly memorable on many levels. We will most definitely be back.
