Saccharum - Resort & Spa is a luxury 5-star design hotel located on Calheta Beach, between the mountains of Madeira and the Atlantic Ocean. This hotel features a rooftop infinity pool, conference rooms, a buffet and an à la carte restaurant and four bars. Great hotel! Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was quite comfortable with possibly the best bed we slept on during our month long trip. Bathroom was clean, and the balcony was a nice addition. Great AC. Parking was easy and close. This hotel has the best, most elaborate breakfast I’ve ever experienced. It was delicious and filling and varied. We loved the beach club area, though would recommend water shoes as the beach is quite rocky. Would gladly stay here again.

A shuttle service is available to Funchal Airport, located 30 km away. S. Jorge Beach is 3 km away. Teresa is a very welcoming person. We like our stay a lot. Bed is very comfortable. The room and facilities are very clean. Breakfast is just great and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Highly recommended.

Attractively situated in Funchal, Living Funchal iNN is a recently renovated apartment, which features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. The accommodation offers airport transfers, while a car rental service is also available. The location was excellent. The apartment is huge and very comfortable. Plenty of space to spread out. The bed was very comfortable. Washer in the apartment and all the kitchenware you need to feel at home.

Boasting a rooftop pool and views of mountain, Blue House is a recently renovated apartment situated in Ponta do Sol, 80 metres from Lugar de Baixo Beach. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace. The apartment has family rooms. Apartments were real high quality, clean and well accommodated. Fantastic pool available to the guests at the terrace as well as pool table which provided fun activities for the evening. Location of the object was great, about 100m to the beach surrounded with restaurants. Great location also allowed to move around the island quite easily. Owner of the Blue House was a real nice person, greeted us right up front and provided any help that was needed.
