We really liked the hosting, very humble, interactive, helpful and friendly people we ever met. We really liked the Indian Chai that he made (he loves the Indian Tea), people should try that at least once. The host area is very calm and beautiful. We did some yoga and meditation, it's a perfect place to do that along with the host.

We came to Norway from New York for a family trip across country from Oslo to Bergen in April 2023 and we had booked in for a night at Tuddal Høyfjellshotel to break up the drive. It was our first trip to Norway and had no idea that we were going to have one of the absolute best experiences of the entire trip together there. The place is simply beautiful. The people there are incredibly attentive and helpful. The food at dinner and breakfast is world class. The location is stunning. As a personal side note to the owners: My father came to the U.S. from Kongsberg when he was in his very early 20’s and started his new life and family. Growing up in Southern California where my brother and I were exposed to a lot of the antique Scandinavian items, colors, and style. My father was a committed collector at flea markets and swap meets everywhere, and anytime he came across an old collectible related to his homeland, he would proudly bring it home and share the story of it with us, and then find a place to display it in their home. When we came into the main building to check in to our rooms, I told my 17 and 20 year old daughters, “this…this is the story your Grandfather was trying tell us with all those things”.

This apartment is very big & nice with 2 bedrooms located far apart from each other. It was the cleanest stay I had in Norway! Exceptionally clean. It is in a quiet location.

Nutheim Gjestgiveri er fjölskyldurekið timburhótel sem var byggt árið 1877. Útsýni hótelsins yfir Flatdal er frægt og hefur dregið að sér málara og listamenn kynslóðir saman. It was a good experience at the Norwegian historical hotel having a lot of paintings and a beautiful garden. The dinner was excellent and the breakfast was fresh. All the staff are kind and have good parking lots. I'd highly recommend this place and I wish to come back.
