Very pleasant room and overall atmosphere. No strong chemicals used for cleaning which is important to us. Great location to walk to most things in central Svolvaer. The breakfast and restaurant for dinner is very good. We received kind attention by Martina who we really appreciated!

The rooms are nicely done up with modern fittings. Warm and cozy touches and well equipped kitchen. Paulina is a great hostess, quick to respond and help with all our queries. Anita’s seafood restaurant is just 1 min down the road. We loved this place and hope to return some day :)

There is a combo clothes washer/dryer and a drying rack, so we were able to do our laundry. This is a big plus in a country with few self-service laundromats. Though there is a laundromat in Narvik, it is only open on Thursdays, and only for a short number of hours.) The bed was comfortable. (Note that if you are two people needing separate bedrooms, you need to notify the owner about that ahead of time because otherwise you may find the other bedrooms locked.) The shower was good (steady temperature, good pressure, and well-enclosed). There was a bathmat. Parking is free and right in front of the house. The location is quiet. The owner lives close by. It is only about a 20-minute walk to restaurants. As advertised, the view is fantastic, especially the sunsets.
