Very cosy cabin, the most unique and authentic Norwegian stay of our entire trip! There was even a vintage fireplace which the owner helped light up for us. It was convenient to ride to Sognefjellet from here. The cabin has two floors with 2 bedrooms and bathroom in the lower floor, rest in the upper floor. So while the cabin looks small from outside, its actually big :)

It is the largest wooden building in the world apparently, which added a certain charm. The appartment was small (for 4 people) but adequate and in accordance with the description. Everything we needed was there. For us a very convenient stopover to Oslo.

Staying at the property felt like sleeping in a museum! It is a really old wooden house that served multiple generations and you could feel it! It does not mean that the house is dirty and falling apart, quite the opposite - there is a lot of modern facilities like internet, A/C, dishwasher etc, and everything was so clean it was far beyond my expectations! We were also gifted with fresh eggs for breakfast. A lot of thanks and respect to the property owner, and looking forward to staying there again!

We also recommend booking the sauna on the beach,we did it before breakfast. A great way to start the day before a few hours on the motorbike.

Fomos em Março, com muita neve e frio. Já chegámos sem luz mas fomos muito bem recebidos pelo pai de Mari, que nos indicou o caminho para estacionar e para a cabana, alertando sempre do perigo do gelo e colocando gravilha sobre ele. A cabana é muito engraçada, pequena, mas funcional. A porta e a passagem interior são muito baixas, é necessário ter cuidado com a cabeça. Tem o básico necessário, incluindo para cozinhar. O meio ambiente é muito bonito, com um rio do outro lado da estrada, se bem que nesta altura do ano estava tudo branco e gelado. A 5min de carro tem supermercado, restaurantes, gasolineira, lojas variadas. Recomendo! 😉

Picturesque and calm, very spacious, environmentally conscious. Kitchen well equipped with products and equipment. As if you’re staying in your own home. The hostess, Siri, is super nice! We’ve arrived very late, almost 11 pm, and she stayed awake till we got there. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was amazing! Thank you Siri very much! Hope to be back.

Localizado em Randsverk, na Região de Oppland, a 46 km de Gålå, o Lemonsjø Fjellstue og Hyttegrend dispõe de terraço e vista para a montanha. What didn't we like? Everything was great. From the staff to food and location. It feels so homely and calm. The view from our room was directing the lake and we could just sit hours on end, enjoying the view. The lady at the check-in/out was just delightful; very helpful (helped us plan our next day's trip toward fjords), open and super funny. :) We would love to stay longer and explore the surroundings.
