Tento 4-hviezdičkový hotel Baltvilla sa nachádza 15 km od centra Rigy, na brehu jazera so súkromnou plážou a na európskej ceste, nazývanej tiež Via Baltica (E67). Nice clean room - always a good start! The beds were comfy and we had the option of an additional bed if required. Heating and air conditioner in room which was good as we needed the heating when the weather got cold. There was a TV on the wall with Wi-Fi and some on demand services which I didn’t personally use. There was a desk in the room too which was useful and a kettle, mugs, wine glasses and a mini bar so everything you need. Friendly and helpful staff both at reception and in the restaurant. They helped me book an extra night and spoke perfect English so it was very easy. Nice breakfast provided, mix of hot and cold foods, salads, cereals, pastries and drinks. Choices of food changed a little bit daily so nice to have some variety. Lobby area was clean and nice with nice clean toilets and a small area for children to play. Lovely restaurant with nice food at reasonable prices and some beautiful heaters. Outside area was immaculate with a nice children’s playground and lovely walks. On the shores of a beautiful lake with a small beach - sadly we came when it wasn’t warm enough to swim but I bet it’s fantastic in summer! I shall definitely return on my next trip to Latvia.

Hotel Cesis is situated in the very centre of the town, near the city park, and offers free Wi-Fi. The hotel’s cuisine offers a range of Latvian and international dishes. Breakfast was tasty. Not too many, but enough different foods to choose from. For it's price - this hotel exceeds the expectations.

Grand Palace Hotel - The Leading Hotels of the World is located in the heart of Riga’s Old Town, only 100 metres from Riga Castle. It features rooms with free WiFi, a minibar and flat-screen cable TV.... The location is in a very quiet part of old town Riga. Parking was very close by.

A brilliant concept. I had the best 2 nights sleep here, lovely and quiet. Comfortable beds. Plenty of seating. Tea and coffee facilities, microwave and fridge. Welcoming host. easy walk to bus and train station. 10 out of 10. Highly recommend
