Located in Gangtok, 1.5 km from Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, Staynest gangtok 300 mtr from MALL ROAD provides accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. The rooms are good. The balcony view is very good. Staff is great and the manager Anil dogra is very nice. Over all enjoy my trip.

Beautiful location - for me it was worth it even though it is about a 30 minute walk to the main tourist street. Honestly it is nice being away from the tourist trap main drag even though I was only there for a few days. The road that leads to the hostel has lots of shops, some restaurants and bars, the sister hostel’s travel cafe, and Rachna Bookstore for great books and food. So if you are around for a while its great. The property is set in dense greenery, and does indeed have lots of birdlife. Great common spaces, great balconies, great food for the set dinners (I didn’t have the breakfast or lunch), and the staff is super knowledgeable, especially Saran. They have a deeper and somewhat offbeat lost of things to do in Gangtok, and will organize hikes for groups from the hostel. The standout for me here was the design - an amazing space compared to any other hostel I’ve been to in India. And very clean :)

The Grand ARK is set in Gangtok, within 1.6 km of Do Drul Chorten Monastery and 1.8 km of Palzor Stadium. Each accommodation at the 3-star hotel has city views and free WiFi. The ambience, the people and the overall setting of the place. It was a really nice stay to wind down and have fun. I'd recommend this place to everyone I know.

The restaurant food is very good. The staff is very cooperative. We stayed for Three Nights. They served us Jain Breakfast and the Chef prepared Jain Dinner of our choice.
