Situated in Varkala and with Varkala Beach reachable within 500 metres, The Barefoot Varkala features a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a terrace. Such a fantastic hostel!!! Staff super welcoming and create a lovely atmosphere, getting people together for sunset swims and lunches out, really nice communal areas and shaded spots with hammocks, lovely affordable food if you can't be bothered to take a short walk to any of the nice cheap spots nearby. Just a great hostel with top people. A reason to come back to Varkala!!!

In the Fort Kochi district of Cochin, close to Fort Kochi Beach, KOVIL home's Guest land features a casino and a washing machine. This homestay features air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. The facilities were very clean. And the owner was so amazing.

Situated within 1.6 km of Mullakkal Rajarajeswari Temple and 4.2 km of Alleppey Lighthouse, Bella Homestay Kerala features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Alleppey. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Large room, no issues with the hot water, quiet in the evenings. Very large breakfasts with continental, Kerala or both style breakfasts if you want it. There is a common balcony overlooking a garden which we used each morning looking for the local birds. Restaurants aren't what we'd consider walking distance, but tuk-tuks are close and cheap. Their recommendations for restaurants were good and safe for the ones we tried. The Shikaras and houseboats are literally around the corner, but we recommend talking to the managers about booking those as they will steer you right. We tried both ways and got far better results from their recommendation.

The Mayflower - Heritage Villa, a property with a garden, is located in Alleppey, 2.7 km from Thumpoly Beach, 1 km from Alleppey Lighthouse, as well as 2.3 km from Mullakkal Rajarajeswari Temple. Susan is such a great host and her house is just so lovely, clean and beautiful. She took care of all our needs and arranged everything for us. I can highly recommend. PS: Her self-made juice is awesome!

Kitchenette with filtered water and fridge. The best of all is the host, Lakshmi. She helped me a lot in planning my trip, getting a driver, advising restaurants, she really cares a lot. And does a yummy breakfast.

Very nice traditional kerala boat with all the amenities, very helpful staff that took care of us constantly during our stay. It’s my second booking of this property, this time I brought family and friends! It’s a jewel of the experience

Situated in Wayanad, 18 km from Heritage Museum, Crossroads Hostel 1957 features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. I had the perfect stay at crossroads, amazing vibe and the setting was perfect. Can easily hire a bike if u want to explore Wayanad or sit back a relax, really felt like i was home. I could of easily stayed for weeks even after extending my stay. Hospitality was so nice and the food served by the chef was amazing with huge portions and with little cost. Oh and theres a dog that will follow u around if u feed him biscuits 😃 see u soon guys!
