Situated within 15 km of Athlone Institute of Technology and 15 km of Athlone Train Station in Athlone, Glasson Glamping Farm features accommodation with seating area. Location was ideal. Host was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. The games room was very high quality and great to pass the evening. Would stay again

The hosts were lovely and breakfast in their kitchen was amazing. My room & bed were large with firm pillows; I was able to open window to get fresh air; gardens were delightful and the deck was lovely to sit on and relax after a long days drive. Ensuite was a good size with strong HOT water. A small area in hallway was set up with T/C/S, with a jug of milk, biscuits and bottles of cold water available in a small fridge.

Quietly situated, the family-run Shelmalier House is just 5 minutes’ drive from the town of Athlone. It features a sauna, free Wi-Fi, and free private parking. This place was wonderful. The owner Jim went out of his was to make us welcome and comfortable. There was glitch in our plans and Jim went out of his way to get it fixed fot us. It was raining and we got wet and cold-he brought us a heater.that warmed us up. He could not have been more helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend this place. 😀

This modern, family home is located on Roscommon Road (N61), just 10 minutes’ drive from Athlone town centre and 2 minutes from Athlone Golf Club and Hodson Bay. The host was very nice. She let us check in early. Her breakfast was delicious. The room was spacious, clean and very nice.
