The hosts were very easy and pleasant to communicate with, and provided a great personal touch to the place. The place was very cozy, and had all the amenities someone could ever need. The bed was very comfortable, and the place was tastefully decorated. The kitchen was well stocked with silverware, cookware, kitchen appliances, and basic pantry items. Towels and linen, as well as toiletries are all provided. The sauna also works perfectly, and had a convenient access to the patio for a cool down in the snow. Finally, the location was unbeatable as it was only a couple of minutes from the Olavinlinna castle, the city center, and walking trails on the islands.

Located in Varkaus and only 20 km from Kartano Golf Club, 57 Kauppakatu provides accommodation with city views, free WiFi and free private parking. We didn't expect much, but were happily surprised by a kind owner and a hotel-room-like apartment. The owner also left us a small breakfast and some treats!

Situated in Savonlinna, Cafe-Restaurant & Hotel Saima has a garden, terrace, restaurant, and free WiFi throughout the property. the breakfast was delicious and one had choices. we purchased a take away lunch (croissant sandwiches) and it was very good. the hosts were very attentive and truly delightful! we hope to come back to visit.
