Hotel muy moderno en el que debes hacer el checkin previamente por el móvil o en una tablet de las que existen en la entrada, después puedes abrir las puertas con el mismo móvil. Habitación cómoda y baño estupendo. Se puede aparcar gratis en la puerta. El desayuno es sencillo como en este tipo de hoteles, pero suficiente

El Hotel und Restaurant Schloss Castle Schwandegg se encuentra en Oberstammheim y cuenta con jardín, zona de parrilla y terraza. We did not know what to expect when booking a room in a castle during winter time, especially as the price was more affordable or on par with other accommodations in the region. We were given an upgrade of our room upon arrival which was a pleasant surprise. We received a quite big, beautifully decorated room with a very comfortable armchair, and with a bathroom a couple of steps down the hall, which was not that big of a deal, especially when you think that you are in a castle, and castles did not have toilets in the room. Also the bathroom was modern, warm, and super clean so there was absolutely no problem on that end. It is still private. The location was very good for us as we had a plan to see Schaffhausen and Rheinfall and this is just 20 min drive away. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant which was excellent as well as the wine which was from a winery below the hill. The hotel/restaurant staff were super kind, they really added a little extra to this wonderful experience. In the evening we enjoyed being in the courtyard, enjoying the silence and the view of/from the castle, it felt like we had it for ourselves. We would gladly come back, hopefully someday we will.

La limpieza, el trato del personal y la comodidad de las instalaciones. Se descansa muy bien, la cama es muy confortable, el lugar es tranquilo... y la decoración es muy acogedora. Queda justo en frente de la estación de tren.

I made the booking for two friends, a newlywed couple. According to them, the owner was very kind and accommodating. They loved the open windows in the room and found the bed to be very comfortable. Also, they really appreciated the sweet little extras the owners did for their “honeymoon”. They would recommend.
