Living in Australia, we don't have castles. So the opportunity to stay in a castle was too good to pass up. Schloss Schadau did not disappoint. We were met at reception by Helen who could not have been more helpful and was also had a wealth of knowledge about the property. She personally showed us to our beautiful room which had a magnificent view of the lake and the Alps behind. If you stay here you simply MUST have dinner here as well. Again there is no escaping from the fact that you are in a castle ! The dining room(s) are luxurious and the food and the service are excellent, matching the decor. Breakfast is served in the same location. It wasn't cheap, but hey ! It's a castle. If you are able to stay one night or more here. You should do it. Unforgettable.

If we could rate this accommodation as 11 out 10, we would definitely do it! We are experienced (and quite demanding) guests but this apartment is just perfect. There is absolutely everything in the apartment (usually you always find something small that is 'nice to have but missing' but not here. We found absolutely everything! The balcony view is just... like a picture (you have difficulty to believe it's real). You can enjoy Swiss landscape without even stepping out even though there are a lot of nice areas to visit/to see. Important: tourist cards allow you to use the local buses free of charge during your stay that make it's very easy those who want to rest from the car driving :) The area is very quite (in the evening you hear just cows bell somewhere in the valley, just amazing! :) The host is extremely friendly and attentive. You feel yourself welcome even before you ring the door bell. It's a first time in our life we found out our names being displayed on the garage door ( simply for clear parking slot indication). Something small but it gives such a welcome feeling! :) The host lives just in the same building (The apartment has a separate entrance and located on the first floor). There is a small supermarket just 30 meters from the apartment which was very handy. We write this review with almost 3 weeks delay and still feeling excited about our stay :) Dear Lieve, we extremely regret that we booked only 2 nights. If we knew it was so nice, we would surely have stayed longer. We'll be back next year without doubts. Many thanks for this fantastic experience, we've enjoyed enormously! Set in Wilderswil, this apartment features a sun terrace. Chalet Gousweid- Jungfrau Apartment features views of the Jungfrau Mountain and is 45 km from Bern. Great space. Big enough for my infant and toddler girls. It had everything you would need to enjoy your stay in Interlaken area. The internet was fast enough for my little girl to stream baby YouTube videos. The walk from the train takes about 10 minutes but there is a bus stop literally within walking distance from the property which drops you off down around the Interlaken West train station. Very convenient!! The host was very quick with her communication and the messages were very clear/precise. This is what I had imagined for what a perfect booking to be; smooth, clean and to the point. Thank you Sofia for the stay. We will be back perhaps with family and/or with friends!

Ula's Holiday Apartments consist of 4 self-catering holiday apartments in a traditional chalet located in Beatenberg. Free WiFi access is available. The apartment is located in the hillside where you can overlook the lake and the mountain range in Interlaken. One can find almost everything you need for normal household in the apartment . The host even does your laundry free. Ula, the host, is kind, informative and helpful. This place is perfect for long stay .

On a southern slope above the Oberhofen Castle, the Otium Erholungs-Oasen offers spacious apartments with a beautiful view of the castle, Lake Thun and the mountains. The staff and landlord were very friendly and open. They gave us many ideas regarding sightseeing and things to do in the area of Thunersee, and we could reach out to them at all times. Our apartment had the most spectacular view of the Thunersee, and the hottub also made the whole experience even more memorable. It felt more like visiting friends instead of renting a hotel room. Will definitely visit again! Many thanks!

Consisting of 3 separate chalets, the CityChalet is located next to the Aare River, 300 metres from the centre of Interlaken. This place is fantastic. It's right in the city, so you can walk to places to eat and shop. The hosts are super nice. They made sure we were happy and comfortable throughout our stay. There's a river next to the property and the views of the snowy mountains are amazing. It's a great place to relax. The rooms are very cozy and clean. We had a great sleep every night. There's an Indian grocery store and Indian restaurant nearby which is very handy. In short, this place has it all - a great location, friendly hosts, beautiful views, and comfortable rooms. Highly recommend it!
