This was the perfect place for me to relax and have my own space after 5 days in the jungle! Great value. The place is simple but has everything you need. The fact that it has a washing machine and soap to wash your clothes is just absolutely fantastic. Bed is comfy and towels are included. It’s a gated property so it feels very secure. The caretaker is super friendly and nice and give you recommendations for things to do etc.

Set in Novo Airão in the Amazonas region, Amazônia ParkSuítes has a balcony. With river views, this accommodation offers a terrace and a swimming pool. This was a great choice. The team were really friendly and welcoming at all times, breakfast was generous and diverse in terms of items. They even prepared a little take away box for us for a day trip. The swimming pool is great and has a little Jacuzzi, which is a stunning way to end the day. Their restaurant is really good and so are the caipirinhas. Overall a great pick!

Solo Nunes is set in Manaus, 12 km from Amazon Theatre, 12 km from Church of Nossa Senhora da Conceicao, and 6.3 km from Vivaldo Lima Stadium. Very comfortable and economical with very friendly staff. They were very patient with my poor Portuguese.

We loved everything. The staff were super friendly and helpful with everything. The facilities were fantastic, we spent so much time in the pools on deck and just enjoying the view. The tours were all very well organised and the guides were great. They were very knowledgeable, spoke multiple languages and took the time to explain everything and answer all the questions. The food (and cocktails) were incredible, not just the main breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets in the dining room but also the smaller buffets served up on deck in between. The wifi which they only just got worked perfectly the whole time which was great as I had to work a little bit. We loved our room and our balcony and spent a lot of time out there as there were no mosquitos at all! There was also a nurse which was lucky for me because I actually got sick on one of the days but she treated me right away. So if you're looking to enjoy a bit of luxury while exploring the Amazon, this is definitely the right choice.

Located on Mamori River, Dolphin Lodge offers fishing, an on-site restaurant and a daily buffet breakfast. We had a fantastic stay at Dolphin Lodge! Our guide Thiago was amazing, the facilities rustic but comfortable and food very tasty! I appreciated their flexibility in preparing gluten-free meals for me as well. The transfer from Manaus (car, speedboat, car and speedboat again) sounded complicated, but it was very smooth. Just make sure you travel light as you will have to carry your luggage from car to boat to car to boat! There were almost no masquitos when we visited (January).
