Attwengerhof is an biological farm situated in Traunkirchen, 3 km from the Traunsee with a public beach. The farm is on a mountain with a great view over the Traunsee lake and the mountain Traunstein.... The location is perfect and exceeded our expectations. Our apartment was on the second floor, it had two bedrooms, a very well equipped kitchen (including spices and oil!), a nice dining table for board games and a small living room. The surrounding was beautiful with view on the lake, extremely green fields and cute cows. We received every they fresh milk and collected eggs for the breakfast. There are many nice hiking trails and excursion places nearby, that can be reached by 1-2 hours walk. Our host was a very kind and cute family, it seems that they take care of the place with love! Thank you everything!

Featuring an indoor pool and a steam bath Hotel Magerl is located just a 10-minute walk from the center of Gmunden. The lake is 150 metres away and the Grünberg Cable Car is 300 metres from the house.... Perfect breakfast and view. Super friendly staff.

Located directly at the shore of Lake Traun, Seegasthof Hois'n Wirt offers a private beach area and rooms with free Wi-Fi. Room was spacious, clean, with a big balcony. Views from balconies and restaurant's terrace are amazing! Staff friendly and helpful. Lots of parking space. Location is fantastic. Easy access to the lake, hiking trails. Truly exceeded our expectations!

Located in Ebensee, Hotel Hochsteg Gütl is an ideal starting point for excursions to the historic villages Hallstatt and Bad Ischl. Absolutely everything. The location was stunning, the facilities were top notch, the service was personalised and impeccable. Our room (the family room) was straight out of an interior design magazine and the breakfast was great. We dined several times at the hotel restaurant which was adjacent to it and is also run by the family - and it was delicious. There was a big park with a trampoline and other games to keep the little one entertained and the roofed, heated pool was a big hit also. There was a lovely garden to have tea and cake in (home made cakes, coffee and tea were available from 2 to 4 pm at no extra cost) and also to read a good novel and lose yourself in the scent of the flowers and the sound of the feature fountain. The gentleman who runs it has high attention to detail and was very kind and attentive. We had to leave before the usual breakfast time so he got up one hour earlier to make a full breakfast just for us! He made sure our stay was excellent and we will definitely be coming back next year! Many a hotel owner/ hotel chain manager should visit and take notes on how to run a place to an absolute high standard.

The Rosenhof is located in the town of Ebensee in the heart of the Salzkammergut region. It offers comfortable rooms with mountain views, a sun terrace with covered seating area and free WIFI access. The host was very friendly. Pension was very cosy, view from balcony amazing. It worth come back there next time.

Located on the shore of Lake Traunsee, with direct lake access, Das Traunsee - Das Hotel zum See is situated in the centre of Traunkirchen in the Salzkammergut, 10 km from Gmunden. One of the best stays I had. Staff is super helpful, the room was super comfortable, the view on the lake gorgeous. On top of that, the treatment we had, the spa, the breakfast were all perfect. I would recommend and I'll definitely come back.
