Super clean, was much bigger than photos made it look. The 10 min walk to town is lovely by the river. Free parking and a little playground for kids. There was also a high chair for us on arrival. Very accommodating for families. Will definitely stay again when we are Ljubljana

Hotel Cad really exceeded our expectations - it is a new, modern hotel that is stylishly designed, has amazing and comfortable rooms (with very comfortable beds!) and a lovely brasserie where breakfast is served. Parking was available for free in a secure spot and the hotel catered for a late arrival with ease. We had an amazing stay over 3 nights and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ljubljana. The hotel is a brisk 15-20 minute walk from the historic city centre and the path goes through a lovely park, although there are also well lit streets with traffic if you walk in the evening and prefer a more safe route. Don't be deterred by the fact that the hotel may appear a bit distant from the old town - the walk is in fact quick and a great escape from the city. The hotel itself is in a quiet area so ideal if you want to unwind! Lastly, there is an excellent restaurant right next door which serves delicious Balkan cuisine.

Best hostel I've ever been to! Completly new with nice new furniture. Is very cozy like a small apartment, it has 10 beds in one big room along with kitchen and bathroom (divided in men and women).Close to the city center (could reach the center in 20 minutes walking) and to the bus and train station. The bed are very nice and comfortable and have curtains which is great for privacy. The lockers are big and can perfectly fit your luggage. The bathroom was very clean and had everything you need (like hairdryer). There's no reception so you receive via email the instructions to enter your room through a "key" on your phone (all very easy to use). The owner was always very nice and ready to help and responded to messsages really fast. He let us leave our luggages in the lockers right next the entrance (so you can get your luggage even after the checkout time when your virtual key doesn't work anymore). A very nice place you can tell they put lots of attention to small details, you feel like you're at home. I'll definitely come back next time I visit Lubiana:)

We had a four person 2 bed apartment and it was fantastic. Great size, really cool décor, all the facilities you could need with your own kitchen, dining room, lounge with huge TV, and two big double bedrooms. Very modern, and a great pad to crash in when on holiday.
