Slovenia
The receiptionist/front desk girls were very hepluful, both named Ana, I think. They were able to give me a lot of info on where to go and what too see. The location is execllent, you need to look for their sign. They are located 50 yards off the main road up a dirt road on top of a small hill. Their dinner was excellent. I had the best rib eye steak I'v ever eaten. I'm not the kind of guy who goes out and order steaks, ever! Their Slovenian is even better!!! You should make a reservation. The locals packed this place the night we were there, we almost did not get a table. They made room for us. Our room had an awesome view and patio.

The host was very kind and helpful. He even lent us his sleighs to use on the snow. Nice location in the countryside and around 15 mins walking to Lake Bled. The children loved the animals - goats, donkeys and chickens. Lovely view from the balcony. I definitely recommend this place.

Kitchen is fully equiped, we could cook meals for baby and rest of family like we were at our own home. Apartment is spotlessly clean, with lots of light and elegant furniture. Owners were accomodating and polite, fast on response. Location is also perfect, each window had beautiful view of lake, castle, church. We will definetly come again!

The units are spacious and have everything you need to prepare meals and feel at home. Rico offered us suggestions for routes in the area and helped with coordination and arrangements. Rico and Tina brought us delicious homemade cakes and fresh eggs. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need with a few extras. The house is in a town very close to Bled, but outside the hustle and bustle of Bled.

The family are really friendly and helpful and are there to help. The accommodation is modern and new, clean and with a great garden for the kids and relaxing. The hotel is smart BUT the buffet evening meal is not so strong at all. The breakfast is good though particularly if you arrive by 7.30am. The pool is a family fun world but with beautiful lake Bled views. Overall a family friendly hotel and very well cared for too. However the quality of the food for couples in late 50s and 60s is a little below par.

Had all the comforts of home, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, and everything was super clean. We also enjoyed the rural scenery, and spent a lot of time playing in the garden. Marko was a great help in choosing the right places and right times to go, and he shared excellent tomato's and fruits from their garden.

He went above and beyond to help us make our first trip with our 6 month old baby as easy as possible. He provided a travel cot, high chair and made sure that we had a microwave to help sterilise bottles etc. The house is located walking distance to the main high street, the lake and local beach. The most friendly, welcoming and helpful hosts as well as a cosy, cool and comfortable apartment. It was really nice with a fully equipped kitchen and a local bakery only two houses away. Great terrace with a nice view and well functioning air conditioning inside. We also borrowed mountain bikes to see the sights in the area. All in all just perfect.
