It was a beautiful property in an idyllic, calm and peaceful location. Beautifully decorated with everything you could need. The views from the bedroom and lounge were fantastic and we loved how everything outside lit up at night. Considering it was -3 degrees outside, inside was lovely and toasty and having a log burner to put on was a bonus. The breakfast was left in the fridge for you to help yourself to plus teas and coffees as and when. The hosts Catrine and Christer were wonderful and very accommodating - 10/10!

The location is not in the city of Uppsala, but close, in the suburbs, which has certain advantages: the environment is quiet and green, in the middle of the nature and there is plenty of space for parking. The apartment has everything a tourist may need: a room with TV, kitchen appliances, fridge, freezer, TV, then a sleeping space, and an ensuite bathroom. We chose the rainiest days of the summer to stay at the house, but I’m glad we did! The house is lovely, large and comfortable. It has a smart tv with all the streaming services and even loads of English tv channels. Wifi is also great for doing some work. Beds were extremely comfortable (and we’re quite critical). But what made our stay even more great was that Johan went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. He brought us a large umbrella, gave us tips on local sights and his wife even brought us homemade pasties. Thank you so much for a great stay!
