The location is perfect if you want to hike or just to enjoy Balea Lake. Best price for a 3 stars Hotel in the area. Everything was perfect. Very clean, super quite and the staff were very helpful and kind. You can order in the restaurant by 22 which is a very good option. I highly recommend!

I chose the place because of it’s great reviews, but they still managed to exceed my expectations. What a wonderful and peaceful place with the most friendly owners who do their best to make you feel welcome. Also, it wad very easy to communicate in English as I do not speak Romanian. Location in the heart of the Transfarahashan, an ideal place for an overnight break or for exploring the beautiful trail. Staff was great and breakfast is great value for money. Also was very helpful and honest to send a forgotten item all the way to Bucharest. Highly recommend!

The place is unreal, on the lake, fresh air, and ton of stuff to do around. The view is unreal, and you can't get enough of it. You had a small fridge you could use outside the room, but it was empty, so enough space for us. The room was very warm as it was bloody cold outside. All wood inside, was was very cozy and gave you a nice feeling like the cabin in the woods. There was a bear cub walking around the premisses, so was a site for sore eyes, just need to be careful and not go close to them as we did invade their lands. Staff was professional and helpful when needed.

A unique, secluded property, settled right on the shore of the beautiful lake Vidradu. Alin, the host (dear man, I hope I got your name right) lives in a separate house in the property, with a bunch of friendly dogs. He took care of everything we asked for, and our kids enjoyed playing with the dogs. Other than the above mentioned, we didn't see anyone, and we had complete privacy. The entire property is surrounded by bear fences, so they can't get in, but if you want to see bears, all you have to do is get in the car and drive a few minutes along the road at either direction. Soon enough they will show up. The house is so nice, with windows to the lake, and the balcony, with the lake view, and the outside sitting area, with a BBQ option (and lake view) and of course there is the lake shore, totally private, with a view to the lake :) There are probably more things to do around the area, but once we entered the front gate, we didn't want to leave.

We liked everything about this hotel! Starting from the location at a beautiful lake and the views, to the food and activities available (spa zone, lake boat trip, ATV tour to the forest). We especially want to thank the staff and the reception host that helped us book all the activities and was very attentive to all the requests. This is the best service level we have seen in Romania so far. I highly recommend the hotel and plan to come back again.
