This is a great Guesthouse! Not only are the rooms clean and spacious but the family who runs it are amazing. We were welcomed by the whole family with 2 glasses of horinca! Our room was very clean and comfortable, the bathroom is also clean with hot water. We had dinner and breakfast at the Guesthouse and are so glad we did. The food was delicious and plentiful and we had a lot of fun learning about Romania. There is parking in the yard and it's easy to access. The village of Breb is very cute and a definite must if you travel to Marmures.

Easy to find as you enter the village. Parking on site. The building is relatively new and very clean. The welcome from Ileana and Petro was very warm (take your Google translate with you). The room was small but very clean, good shower, bathroom, etc. Make sure you book for breakfast and dinner! Wonderful fresh, local dishes. Vegans could have a problem here. Ileana is the cook and explains all the courses in rapid fire Romanian. Fortunately an English speaking Romanian family took us in hand and translated and explained everything for us - they were so warm and friendly, like most of the locals we met.

The absolute best thing about this place is the wonderful hosts. They made us feel very welcome and we loved talking with them over meals. We learned a lot about Romania and the traditional way of life in Maramures. The food was excellent and were among the best meals we enjoyed in Romania
