The location was amazing. The ocean is right up in front of u. Everything is new. The renovation is fresh. The beds have huge beds and very comfy mattresses. There are all of the supplies you might need from washing powder to shower gels. Everything for cooking too. The hostesses were very friendly and even brought us a corkscrew for wine at 11 pm. We could text them any time we needed sth. There was also a food recommendations list and sight seeing list left for us. As well as the compliment port wine and local fruits. There is a cure local bar, a couple of restaurants and a beach nearby. For groceries you’d have to drive 10-15 min. Amazing place. Big thanks to the hostesses for a wonderful stay ❤️

Location was perfect just a short walk to the main strip. A 2 minute walk to the beach and 10 minutes to the restaurants down the road. The host was fantastic, provided great recommendations in the area. We even ended up extending our stay rather than heading to the city!

This gorgeous villa located in a beautiful fishing village just by the sea was a great choice. The view from the house is stunning. The inside is clean, very comfortable and spacious. The kitchen is equipped with all the needed tableware, cooking utensils, big fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and a tumble dryer. The living room has a big TV, there's also free and fast wifi. The beds in the bedrooms are really comfortable, the bathrooms are clean with a lot of fresh towels. The villa is well-kept. Given the sunbeds and umbrellas, relaxing by the pool was very pleasurable. Around the house is a pretty garden with many plants. The large place to park your car next to the house is worth mentioning. Futhermore, the restaurant next door called Sabor a Mar fish factory is serving delicious, always fresh fish and the staff is really nice and helpful. The owners are very hospitable as well as the caretaker Andrea who manage the keys to the villa. There's a small convenience shop nearby and a bigger supermarket in Calheta. Overall, Casa do Paul do Mar is an amazing choice for a relaxing stay with the family or friends in a beautiful place.

The house is very spacious with lots of natural light and it’s beautifully furnished using great colors that underline the holiday feeling . You have direct view on the Ocean from the terrace/balcony on every floor. Our favorite moments were enjoying your morning coffee/breakfast with the view and sound (!) of the Ocean, to sunbathe on the roof terrace with views on mountains and the Sea or to end the day with a glass of wine with a magical view. The owner was kind and super helpful and the house really has everything you could possibly need. We had a truly relaxing and unforgettable stay on Madeira in the yellow house and we highly recommend it!

Was in a beautiful area with amazing views. The hotel was clean. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Was initially disappointed there was no AC in the room but realized you didn’t need it - just kept the balcony door open and the breeze was adequate. Food was good, desserts were great.
