The host helps guests in every possible way, for example she helped me to get to the airport or provided additional clothes for someone who had not correctly estimated the temperature of Norvegian winter. All the rooms are carefully designed (furniture, decoration, art exhibits) and tell quite a lot about Norvegian culture.

I so wish I had spent more time, the house is cosy and cute with lots of interesting things to look at. Super comfy bed. Unfortunately Lene wasn't home because I would loved to have met her, she is just so kind and sent me some lovely messages. You feel right at home and the house is at your disposal. I had fun hanging out with Turbo the cat, what a sweetie and it made my night to watch the Aurora from the bench in the garden. Everything you need here and more. Dont hesitate.

The view from the living room was amazing and was the perfect place to warm up after a day of exploring the area. We were lucky to see the northern lights right from the balcony. Very convenient location with lots of great restaurants a short walk away, and very close to the tour companies.

The fact that our cabin is well equipped and allowed us to self cater easily was another plus point. We also had fun walking around the Svinoya island. And most importantly, we were in awe of the excellent service provided by the manager of Svinoya Rorbuer, who gave us a lift in his car to the airport when our taxi failed to arrive on time and we had to rush to the airport. It's service like this that warms the heart and makes us come back again!
