The hotel is located close to the shore of Lake Maggiore. The rooms at the front of the hotel have a spectacular view of the lake. The hotel and its surroundings are designed in the style of a palace. Very well made and beautiful. The hotel staff is professional and provides excellent service. The spa at the hotel is excellent. We had a wonderful stay recently at the Sempione Boutique Hotel. The hotel is immaculate and the rooms with the amazing views of the lake are gorgeous. It’s in a perfect location right by the lake and ferries and the centre with all its restaurants is just a short stroll away. The restaurant right next door is great too! The roof terrace with its wonderful views over the lake is fantastic and the perfect place to enjoy a lovely, cold Aperol Spritz after a long day of sightseeing. Daniela and her team were all lovely and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. I definitely recommend staying here if you’re going to Stresa, we’ll certainly be returning.

The appartement is in a great location with the parking nearby. Everything inside the appartement was brand new and clean. At arrival the host welcomes you and once inside there were lots of snacks, cold beverages and coffee free to use. Really great service!

We had a most enjoyable stay at B&B Poggiolo. Andrea and Valeria are wonderful and helpful hosts. Our suite is spacious, with a fabulous view of Lake Maggiore and the islands. The rooms are tastefully furnished; the bathroom is modern; everything is spotless. We slept very well at night as the house and surrounding area were completely quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was set up in a nice room downstairs, and the spread was lovely every morning. For dinner, there’s a highly rated restaurant within walking distance. One could also take a short drive to nearby towns or to Stresa. We had a rental electric car and used a charging station 12-minutes away on the route to A26. We went to the islands, of course, and drove around Lake Maggiore, stopping at a few towns. The whole area is beautiful.

Beautiful location. Gorgeous views of the lake and islands from our room. Spacious bathroom. Good a/c which it was essential during the summer heat wave!

Wonderful stay. Welcome and hosting was superb. Lovely breakfast on a terrace with knock-out views. Beautiful and tranquil garden (but don't ask about the mosquitos..!). A bit out of Stresa so you def need a car but there is ample parking. Lovely to have a cat on the premises, too! Really would recommend.

The owners were super sweet and gave us great tips for where to eat. The location of the house is simply perfect. Even though it's situated right in the center, garden lodge creates a small oasis of peace and calmness.
