We stayed in Hotel Gries eight nights and truly enjoyed a warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the personnel of the hotel. Amazing and helpful receptionists who advised us about the slopes, Sella Ronda route, local restaurants, wine and helped me to treat the injured knee. Food was excellent - we were looking forward to dinner experience every single evening. Also, SPA facilities were good, but had to be pre-booked. At the arrival we were offered a very small room, but luckily we could change it to a spacious one. The room was cozy and clean with the renovated bathroom. Although the room was located close to the elevator, we did not experience any noise.

Only 3 minutes by car and you will arrive to the cablecar Sass Pordoi which brings you up to panoramic view “Terrazza delle Dolomiti” 2950m

Great breakfast, friendly staff, big, comfortable and cool rooms with a big balcony. Good parking even for our camper. Great spa facilities which were appreciated after a day on the mountains. The bike garage felt safe and I had no issues leaving my bike in there.

Our hosts were incredibly hospitable and attentive! From the family running the business, to the nice lady who took care of ensuring everything was clean and tidy. I requested a quieter room and they made everything possible to accommodate my ask. The breakfast was outstanding, with sufficient variation for anyone's taste before hitting the slopes. The icing on the cake was the spa area, which was tastefully designed and offered a cozy, home-like atmosphere.
