Quiet & peaceful location. The property has everything one needs. Enjoyed receiving fresh eggs and on arrival the host left us some hot cross buns, butter and milk. One of our party uses a wheelchair and it was easy to move around the property.

The Bridge Tavern appears a little tired when you first walk in, but we soon found out, first of impressions are not always reliable. The Bridge is “ where it’s at” in Wicklow. The great food and location make it very busy with locals as well as tourists. It’s old and authentic which adds to its charm. The staff was amazing and so eager to take care of us.

Tha apartment is very complete. Everything necessary is available, especially for cooking. The host is super careful and kind, we liked a lot the attention she had for welcoming us and helping us during our stay, especially with supporting things for the child (toys, cot, high-chair, useful consumable, ...)

Fantastic spot, very clean and spacious, the cottage was outstanding and more than able to accomodate a family of 5. The warm and personal welcome by Sophia was the icing on the cake, thank you very much for that, also for your flexibility on teh late arrival. We very much enjoyed our stay.

The hosts are very friendly ,warm and welcoming. There was lovely Christmas pudding, Almond treats, fresh glass bottled milk , tea ,coffee and essentials that were waiting for us. My children especially loved the hot chocolate. A lovely touch was the fluffy hot water bottles. Cottage was very warm and clean. Loved our stay and will definitely book again.

Great little place, very nice hosts, clean and comfortable room. Very close to local towns and venue where we were attending a family wedding. Even got a free lift up to wedding and afters on both evenings, which was a great help.

The hosts Rita and Matt were the most accommodating and helpful people sharing their home with us, they couldn't do enough for you, the location was good as it was near to my family we went for a family party, although you would have to drive everywhere. Matt and Rita helped us with umbrella when raining, offered us lifts if we were stuck and were generally very helpful. Matt and Rita offered toast and cuppa each morning if wanted. We did have it one day of our stay. Gorgeous bedding and pillows, comfortable bed in ensuite.

Breakfast was lovely,we had the full Irish,it was very tasty. I enjoyed the quietness of the hotel. When you have 3 kids at home it’s nice to be able to get to sleep without hearing music or children running around corridors all hours of the night.

The location. Very close to the village of Redcross. Only 30 mins from Glendalough or Powerscourt. The cottage was lovely. Very comfortable and clean. Child friendly, a little playground near the front, lots of friendly animals around, opportunity to collect your own eggs from the henhouse every morning. Lovely place. Will be back.
