Fabulous attentive staff, as we had planned to dine in restaurant for early lunch but we ran out of time, before wedding at Boyne hill house ,a lovely girl on check-in suggested we get a toastie and chips which she offered to bring to our room whilst we got ready for wedding ceremony. This was so much appreciated. . Room was lovely, breakfast A1 with table service and on check out a kind gentleman enquired how we enjoyed our stay which we said was superb. This was a perfect location for visiting the Boyne Valley. The cottage is fantastic, slightly quirky but extremely comfortable and with everything you need. It is beautifully decorated and loved the extra Irish wool blankets dotted around the rooms and as for the chandelier in the bedroom.......just waoh !! The history of the main house and surrounding area, which was supplied by Joe, was an absolutely fascinating read and I did feel that we were walking in the steps of those who went before us. Thanks to Katherine for making us feel so welcome. Would happily return anytime.
