The Listowel Arms is an exceptional hotel. It's a classic of its kind, located right on the square in Listowel. The Arms is welcoming, bright, fresh, filled with fine furniture and flowers, with plenty of lovely sitting areas where friends and family can sit and chat in comfort. It also boasts an excellent restaurant and bar. Unexpectedly, I was upgraded to a suite for my recent stay! What a treat: the suite had a huge king bed, a large bathroom, a sitting area, and a balcony. There was also a bank of windows affording a view over a lovely grassy racetrack behind the hotel. A wonderful stay. Definitely worth every penny.
