The best boutique hotel we’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at. Great property with very close access to all the restaurants and shops in the Old Town, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. The attention to detail is impressive. From their warm welcome with a cold drink and treat, to the delicious breakfasts, all are done with great care by Katerina and her husband. They take pride in their small hotel and it shows! The rooms are spacious and the bed is comfortable. We were there for one week and we’re sad to leave. We cannot recommend the Porolithos Boutique Hotel enough.

The apartment itself is very minimalistic, functional, comfortable, and very clean. I would say perfect for staying couple of days. The hospitality and kind hosts make this property much more worthy. All you need, they will be pleased to help you. I got all kind of advices and guidelines what should I visit, which beaches and restourants, and what should not miss.

The renovation work made at this centuries old Rhodesian limestone house located at the former Juderia (Jewish quarter of the town) and the taste of decoration is amazing. I understand from the owner of the hotel Ms.Toula (who is a dentist from the Island) that she has personally hand picked every detail during the renovation and decoration work, reflecting all her passion she has built up over the years. Every detail is well and elegantly thought of, and absolutely beyond any unnecessary extravagance. The location is very convenient especially for those using the ferry port at arrival and departure. Ms. Toula has been super friendly and a very comforting host. After we checked out, we had plenty of time for our ferry, but not so much to go to a beach long away. As it was quite a hot day we decided to swim right in front of the walls, 150 meters from the hotel. Ms. Toula has very kindly offered us beach towels and a shower in the garden, which made us much feel as if we had visited a good friend/relative. Yet not only her, but also the staff has been super nice, kind and thoughtful. Upon arrival, seeing us sweating like nothing, the kind receptionist immediately offered us a nice icy bottle of water alongside a ristretto, with a sweet and frank smile. The Wi-Fi does not necessarily always work well, but the AC is super functional. The breakfast which costs an additional €15 is very nice and is worth the extra cost to avoid all the terrible touristic food you would find elsewhere in Rodos.

We are so thankfull for everthing.The room was so clean and enough for my family (4 person). The breakfast was delicious and various. Espically we would to thank to Katherina for her support, advices and interest. Hotel location was wonderful, it was center of city. There are many restaurant, market, taverna near the hotel. We will visit soon.
