Everything you need: AC in every room, TV, 2 showers, Wifi, fully equipped kitchen and washing mashine. Lovely courtyard with lemon trees. It is situated in a small town with very good local retaurants

Great location, considering you rent a car. Public transportation/bus stop is very close and easily available. Location outside of the busy tourist district was a big plus. Very straightforward instructions on how to get there from the airport. Superb communication! Kitchen equipped with everything you may need, including coffee machines, toaster etc. Rhodes is a beautiful island and selecting accomodation in the middle of the island was a great choice - less than 1h drive in any direction! Very close to a nice beach and just a short walk to a mini-market. Very clean and well looked after. Swimming pool, jacuzzi, playstation, DVD, pool table, tennis table, comfortable chairs and sun beds made our stay such a pleasant experience!

I was searching for a good hotel for my 5th visit in Rhodes island but this time it was my first vacation alone so I searched for a small hotel far from the overcrowded Rhodes city with good reviews and it took awhile until I came across with Lardos Bay Hotel. By the reviews it seems that the hotel has one downfall which is the Wi-Fi connection reliability especially in the rooms area. So I decided to book this hotel and of course to purchase a SIM card with a huge internet package because I needed to work on my laptop during the stay and I couldn’t take the risk after reading the bad reviews about the Wi-Fi. I arrived at the Hotel around 14:00 and i was lucky that the room was surprisingly ready earlier than 15:00! I had to try the Wi-Fi connection for myself and yes it is terrible, it has extremely low internet speed like in the late 90s and it stops working every few minutes or even seconds and I was getting the “No internet connection” message constantly. I truly believe if they had a good and reliable Wi-Fi connection they could have easily go above 9.5 rank in booking.com. Other then the Wi-Fi issues, all the hotel staff from the room attendants to the front desk receptionists are very professional and friendly they always smile and wants you to feel comfortable especially the cute Italian girl at the hotel’s “market” (shop) who thought I’m Italian too :) It looks like the hotel got renovated recently and the room was modern, well maintained and clean to perfection. The public areas looks clean and well maintained as well. I booked full board = breakfast, lunch and dinner that i was told at the check-in it also includes soft drinks and snacks at the pool bar (soft all inclusive) - the food is alright and suitable for a 3 stars hotel. The hotel is 200 meters / 4 minutes walking to the beach, at the beach you can rent 2 Sun beds for 10€ (no option to rent 1 bed).

The hotel exceeded all the expectations (given that it is 4-star). The territory, beach, pools, and food were really exceptional.
