The host family was very friendly. On our late arrival, there was something little to eat, incl. some fruit (which was a surprise and very thoughtful from the host). In the kitchen there was a coffee, sugar, salt. oil and some other useful things to cook. Maybe a sharp knife would be great to add to the drawer. The appartment was very clean and quiet. We got plenty of towels. We enjoyed breakfasts and dinners on the neat terrace. The location is very convenient to explore the island and we liked the nearby town of Candelaria for the evening strolls. We only had to get used to the steep road up to the appartment but already the second ride was ok. There is a washing mashine in the app as well. And a table tennis is a good idea! We really had lovely holiday and we send our love to the wonderful host family. Eva, Tomas, Katka, Petr and kids from Prague xxxxxx

The hosts of this lovely apartment went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and hassle-free. Despite our transportation issues, they kindly met us in person on a Sunday and were incredibly flexible in accommodating our constantly changing time of arrival. They were a charming couple who took the time to give us a thorough rundown of the apartment, the building, and the surrounding neighborhood. The apartment itself was fantastic - it had everything we needed and more. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped with all the necessary amenities. We were especially thrilled to find a laundry and dryer machine in the apartment, which is a rare find in Europe. Additionally, there was a decent dining table as well as a second table near the window, which offered a breathtaking view of the ocean and the main road. Every morning, we were greeted with a stunning sunrise, and my son loved sitting by the window, playing with his toys and basking in the sunshine. The town where the apartment is located may be seemingly religious, quiet, and sleepy, but that's part of its charm. There are several restaurants, grocery stores, bars, and beaches nearby, making it a perfect destination for a relaxing getaway. Public transportation nearby makes getting to the big city of Santa Cruz a very easy 25-minute direct ride. The people in this town are the salt of the earth. During our stay, I worked remotely and visited the nearby gym and the beach almost every day. The weather in this part of the island was nothing short of spectacular - even in December, we enjoyed consistently warm temperatures ranging from 23-27 degrees Celsius with minimal wind and plenty of sunshine.

The welcome upon our arrival was great and communication with the host couple was quick and smooth even after our departure. Beautiful people both of them, dos soles! :) Our stay was excellent, the flat was big, bright, nicely decorated and comfortable and we really felt at home! It was fully equipped and actually more than we expected, as there were even beach towels and an umbrella for the beach, ample space to hang clothes, kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable and we had a number of different pillows to choose from, which we both appreciated. The flat was very easy to cool down by opening the balcony door and bedroom windows and there was also a fan for some not so breezy nights. Location was also excellent, with many restaurants, cafés and shops at walking distance and we had a view of the sea from the balcony!
