The place is not in the center of the town but is 5 minutes drive from the beach and all the restaurants. The owners are great and they suggest and help you with everything you need.

Our self contained apartment was on the floor above the owners, you needed to walk through her lounge to gain access. The owner couldn’t do enough for us and was even happy for our bikes to be kept in her lounge. Lots of special treats that were over and above the usual. We had to leave early and that caused no problems.

The location was so convenient to shops and restaurants, and the area very quiet. We had a late flight on our last day and the owner was so kind and allowed us a late check out, which was a great help. Javier had the apartment ready the day we arrived and allowed us to check in early, and welcomed us.

Huge bonus was the lovely roof top bar where we spent 2 hours drinking cocktails in the sunshine. It was excellent value for money for a family of 5- comparable to 2 bedrooms in a 3-4 star hotel but much, much nicer with everything you need to self cater if you want.

It is a hostel and obviously we didn’t expect a great deal, but it was clean and the cleaners come to clean the room everyday with fresh towels. There were so many rooms, but very surprisingly, we didn’t hear anything between the walls! Staff were very friendly. Most places to eat are within walking distance. One particular restaurant was our favourite called “El Brasero de Juan” which was very near and affordable and food were great!
