Our spacious room featured contemporary furnishings and top-notch amenities. The private balcony served as a front-row seat to the magnificent alpine landscape, making it the ideal spot to enjoy our morning coffee and breathe in the crisp mountain air. The dining experience at Johann Grill was exceptional. The restaurant showcased a delightful fusion of regional and international flavors, with each dish expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The sumptuous breakfast buffet quickly became a cherished morning ritual, offering an impressive selection of delectable options. During our stay, the hotel staff went above and beyond to make my wife's birthday special. They treated us to a chef's special menu, which was a delightful surprise and a testament to their commitment to personalized service. The hotel's location provided easy access to various outdoor activities, such as hiking and exploring the charming local towns. The concierge team played a crucial role in helping us plan our daily excursions, offering expert advice and seamless transportation arrangements. What truly set Kempinski Hotel Berchtesgaden apart, however, was the exceptional service provided by the warm and attentive staff. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine hospitality, and every interaction throughout our stay demonstrated their dedication to creating a memorable experience for their guests.

Family-owned…and it shows in the care and attention they give to the guests. Great breakfast and dinner in the Berchtesgaden countryside. Located on a country road away from the main highway. Great location in the mountains. The room was newly renovated and was very clean.

the surroundings were wonderful, the view in the morning was beautiful. Everything was nearby. There were not many people but there were. We just felt at home there, we will definitely go back again.

Prettier than the pictures. We kept waiting to run into Julie Andrews😎 Staff was so friendly. Place was meticulous. Very quiet and simply felt special. Convenient to towns on either side of mountain. Stay here…you will love it.
