Loved the quiet atmosphere inside the hotel and outside. Lovely interior in the lobby and restaurant, alpine style, with lots of wood and cosiness. The Alpine single room is ideal for a single traveller. Nothing unnecessary, perfect cleanliness and freshness, just like in four-star hotels. Soft feather pillow, comfortable soft mattress, weightless blanket... Just open the window and sleep in the freshest air. And all around you, there is silence, no shouting or talking until midnight. The hairdryer in the room was like a hairdryer for home, with several switches, not an inconvenient tube with one mode nailed to the wall, as often happens in hotels. The views from the windows are beautiful and very atmospheric. The view does not rest on the rough concrete wall of the neighbouring house, there is enough space, air and beauty in the windows. The breakfast is excellent, a great choice for all tastes. And how tender were the waffles! And the jam! Every morning you can taste new jam, it's like homemade! The atmosphere in the restaurant is calm, beautiful people sit and talk quietly, without any fuss and shouting, it was a pleasure to be among them. Impressive large windows and views, perfect company for breakfast. Hotel Jägerhof is love at first sight.

I love the resort and location. It is walkable from the zermatt station but also comes with an option of a mini shuttle running from 7am to 9pm at a call from the station central. I also love the entertainment, pool and spa which I can do within the resort. Staff were friendly as well! Had an opportunity to try out their Hornox restaurant and I think the food were pretty good. …and would like to thank the hotel for the thoughtful ‘gift’ as well! :)

Found this beautiful 2 bedroom apartment last minute and really enjoyed it. The beds and pillows are super comfy, feels luxurious. The sofa in the living room was converted into a bed and there is a blackout curtain that transforms the living room into a 3rd bedroom. Every room comes with a flat screen TV. There is only one bathroom with separate shower and bathtub. There is another toilet with just a sink as well. The kitchen comes fully equipped with everything you’ll need to prepare a full size family dinner, stove, oven, pots, pans, cutlery etc. There’s also a coffee machine which I didn’t get to try. Coffee and tea bags are provided as well. Another great service was the self-service luggage storage room to securely store you belonging since we arrived early. We also took the taxi (CHF10) to the train station instead of walking, which you can also do for just 2 minutes. I wished I had stayed longer. Definitely will come back here next time I come back to Zermatt.

This is our first time in a hotel of that kind. Exceptional. Staff, design, smell, view, atmosphere, food, facilities, location... All of these were exceptional and we felt it every minute of our stay ! We loved looking around and enjoying the attention that was kept in each and every detail. Good Location. Walking distance from the rail station and city. Reasonable price. Good comfortable room. Free washing machines and dryers are available for the guests. Good guidance was provided. Breakfast also nice.
