Location: Perfect. Higher up in the village, close to forest walk (great for dog walking), quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. View: More than perfect. Best view I've ever had from a hotel room. My room was on the top floor, facing the mountains. I don't think it's possible to have a better view anywhere in Wengen. Style: I love the hotel's style, inspired by art deco design, but very "simple". No unneccessary thrills and frills, beautiful colour scheme, sophistically understated. Just beautiful (for my taste). Friendliness: The owners were genuinely friendly and helpful, uncomplicated and cool.

-Absolutely the best part of our trip in Switzerland. Had so many great memories there. -The view from our room’s balcony was magnificent (make sure you book a room facing the mountains). -The rate was not cheap (and we visited in the peak season) but was well worth it. -Staff offered early check-in for us. We arrived on a rainy day, carrying 3 luggages so this was very helpful. -Room was spacious and clean. The interiors were modern compared to most other hotels in the area. -Dinner at the hotel was also great. We were lucky to enjoy a live music show at the restaurant.

The location, views, and hospitality are at their best. I really had a great time in Wengen and in Hotel Edelweiss. The host and the staff are exceptionally friendly and they really take care of you. The breakfast has everything that one can desire and I also had a chance to enjoy the 4-course dinner for 33 CHF, I must say it was really exceptional and worth the price. I stayed in a single room and I was provided with everything that I needed. The views from the room and in Wengen were amazing and I will remember that experience for years to come. The train station and the superstore are 5 min walk away and you can reach Lauterbrunnen valley in 10 minutes while going through those amazing views. You can also take Gandola to reach Männlichen which is a must-see while you visit Switzerland and from there you can further take another Gandola to reach Grindelwald. Overall I am very happy and satisfied and will be looking forward to coming back again to Wengen.

Great inside layout. Has its own washing machine. Great deck with a fantastic view. Easy walk to grocery store and the train station. Plenty of kitchen tools and appliances, nice TV with great cable tv service. We were NOT there during ski season so can't address access to the unit in the snow

Absolutely beautiful house - spotlessly clean, well equipped. It was perfect for two couples as we each had our own bathroom and bedroom, and then shared space was a large living room and kitchen. House is a short walk to the train station or the grocery store.
