We could have sat on the balcony for the entire stay. The view was spectacular. Montreux was quiet, clean and beautiful. From the balcony we could hear church bells, train whistles, boat horns and children playing in the park below. Very peaceful. We inadvertently chose the Freddie Mercury weekend and were able to enjoy the music of Queen along the lovely lake walk. We strolled down the lake walk in the other direction to take in the beauty of Château de Chillon. Hiking with spectacular views of Lac Léman was accessible after a short walk up the hill from Les Amandiers and swimming was a slightly longer amble straight down the hill to the Lake. Excellent location and easy access to the train, bus and Ubers.

The view from this place is stunning. The place was spotless clean when we arrived. The villa had everything anyone might need; comfortable rooms, amazingly equipped kitchen. It also contained toys for the kids and grownups that we definitely used and enjoyed. The owners went so far to provide a smart TV with all programs and apps open for usage. That said, the most important for us was the great hospitality by the owners. They were very responsive when needed and super nice.
