Very comfortable appartment with all equipment and a wonderful sauna and fireplace as extras. The hosts Ernst and Grit were very kind and discreet. Good situation and access and nice mountain view. An excellent place to stay in Berner Oberland.

The owner was very helpful and friendly, giving us a lift from the station and helping us to carry bags to the apartment and giving a few ideas on activities. He spoke good English with me and Schweizer Dutsch with my kids and was very easy going. Meiringen is a lovely town for a weekend with kids, lots to do (the Kugeln walk is great for young ones, walking and marble races... cool)

amazingly modern, cozy place. has all of the utilities. Near to many hiking trails, and near a ski gondola. Host is friendly, timely and very attentive.

This apartment exceeded my expectations. It was huge and had everything you might need and I mean everything... The hosts Doris and Simon are very friendly, hospitable and welcoming. The views from the balcony are amazing, several waterfalls can be seen including the famous Riechenbach Falls. I had the misfortune to leave a rug sack at the property when I left and had resigned myself to the fact it was "lost" however Doris exceeded my expectations and arranged for the rug sack to be sent to the last place we were staying before heading back to the UK. She even called the hotel to let them know to expect it. Yes it was in my room when I arrived. Doris even found the earring I lost and sent it back with the rug sack. Now that's what I call exceptional customer service and I would highly recommend the hosts and the property. Thank you Doris and Simon for all your help and for a very enjoyable stay in Meiringen

Outside accommodations were wonderful! My favorite spot was under the grapevines, enjoying a refreshment, looking at the most beautiful Mountain views and watching agricultural activities.

I've been to Meiningen 5 times and each time I've stayed in a different location. This property was by far the best accommodation I've had yet. I will definitely stay here again and again. Host even drove us to the train station when we left because it was raining.
