Lovely staff, great food and the private sauna downstairs was the best (sauna usage costs extra). A very early check-in due to the bad weather was no problem. Pet friendly hotel.

Ristorante Unione is a restaurant and hotel with several rooms. We stayed at the hotel in early August. The room was neat and clean with a beautiful view of the mountains. The bathrooms were separate. The outside restaurant was especially nice, a few tables surrounded in a beautiful garden, lots of plants and flowers and atmospheric lighting. Food was really good. The owners took great care of us and other guests and told interesting facts about the area. Real service with passion straight from the heart. About 4 km further there is a beautiful waterfall Cascata del Salto, which is worth seeing. Having a car, it is worth going to Lavertezzo to see the Ponte dei Salti bridge over the Verzasca river as well. Also worth seeing is Locarno, which can be reached by direct bus. I highly recommend Unione, I will definitely visit again!

Jednostavno oduševljeni smo! Svaka čast domaćinu koji trenutno bez drugih radnika održava i hotel i restoran u takvom stanju, sve izgleda kao bajka, doručak je divan. Ambijent stare tradicionalne kuće + komfort modernog hotela 👍🏻 Selo u kojem se nalazi smjestaj čak i zanimljivije nego Forroglio zbog kojeg smo došli u Vale Maggia. Preporučujem da istražite okolinu smjestaja, kao viseći mostovi i staze za hajking koje vode u predivne lokacije (tradicionalne sela, vodopade).
