Featuring free WiFi and a restaurant, Nomad Design & Lifestyle Hotel is located in Basel, 200 metres from Kunstmuseum Basel. It has a sauna and fitness centre, and guests can enjoy a meal or a drink at 24-hour snack bar. Private parking is available on site, subject to availability.

It is one of the most enjoyable hotels we have stayed in during our travels so far. Everything is very carefully thought out. The location is great! The restaurant downstairs is equally enjoyable at night and at breakfast. If we come to Basel again, this will definitely be the only place we will stay.

The room features a seating area, a flat-screen TV, and a bathroom. A micro wave and an electric kettle are available in a shared area for guests to use.

The hosts were super friendly. The place, while small, is cute and private. The absolute highlight is the breakfast, which was phenomenal to the point where you feel sad you can't eat everything.

Situated in the centre of Basel's Old Town, on the banks of the Rhine, Grand Hotel Les Trois Rois is one of Europe’s oldest city hotels, where such personalities as Napoleon, Elizabeth II, Pablo Picasso, Thomas Mann and others have stayed.

Breakfast was nice but just the usual. Probably not worth €45 a person. Location was perfect right in the heart of the old town, on the river. Make sure to request a room with a view of the river. The hotel is exceptional in every way but expensive. The staff will go out of their way to meet your every request. Enjoy the cigar bar. The bedsheets and duvet cover was extremely soft and comfortable. The mini bar was accessible, free of charge.

AVLiving City Loft Basel is located in the centre of Basel, 200 metres from Kunstmuseum Basel and 400 metres from the Architectural Museum. Free WiFi is offered.

Featuring a balcony and terrace, the apartment comes with a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, a seating area with a flat-screen TV, and a bathroom.

The location--a short walk to grocery stores, tram stops, the Rhine, and the famous Basler Art Museum--is wonderful. A city tax, payable upon check-in, rewards guests with an unlimited tram/bus ticket for free travel on the entire Basel public transportation network. The apartment, accessible by elevator, was quiet and spacious, including a balcony with seating, a large bedroom with generous storage space, and a larger sitting room and full-equipped kitchen area. Re-charging outlets for electronic devices next to the nightstands were convenient. The shower/bathtub and sink are in one room, a toilet and tiny sink in another. We especially liked the superior body and shampoo liquid soaps. All the fixtures are very modern. There is a washer and dryer in a hallway room nearby.

A 5-minute walk from the Basel SBB Train Station, Basel Charme offers self-catering accommodation in a typical historic town house, dating back to 1898. Nespresso coffee machines and free high-speed WiFi are provided.

A beautiful apartment in a very peaceful pretty setting but close to public transport. The kitchen is very well equipped. The beds are comfortable and the rooms very spacious. A really wonderful place to stay for a few days in Basel. The hosts were kind, helpful and had excellent lines of communication from the book in process all the way through.

Position, cleanliness and all was offered in the room (rituals soap and body cream, coffee, water, coke and beer in the fridge). We really appreciated all the games, books and useful things for little kids in the family room.

We got the room with a double bed and a sofa bed, which is perfect for a family with two children. Our favorite part was a very large shower with side sprinklers and chromotherapy, the kids loved taking a shower there! The position close to the station was very good.

A regular Ibis Budget hotel for our family looking for an affordable accommodation, clean room, free onsite parking, and tasty breakfast on the busy road trips. Bunk bed is definitely reasonable for our daughter. Professional and very polite hotel staff (above average for Ibis Budget)

The location on the Rhine is lovely and very central. The family room was great for my children who loved the books and games and it made things so much more relaxing for us. The food was exceptional from the breakfast to the evening meal and the terrace right next to the Rhine is fantastic.

The appartment was located in another building. The people working for the hotel were helpful and kind .The appartment was spacious. The location of the apartment was very good, close to all tourist attractions. Also close to red light area but felt safe even with small children and can be avoided by using another road . Two more things we liked were the Basel card (free public transport) and the small gifts to the children when we left
