The home was a beauty, Hilde, the host and owner was welcoming us so kindly. She really cared about the rooms, the cleanness, the toys and books for our kids and she explained everything we wanted. She gave us privacy, but was there always when we requested! I think she was the most lovely host I ever met!

The facilities are excellent (the pool, spa and kids play area are top quality) and the breakfast buffet exceptional value for money. We were upgraded to the new rooms, which have been really well done. To be fair, the older rooms are still great. Coffee machines in room are a great luxury touch. Staff are always helpful and courteous.

We couldn't ascribe this smell to anything in particular - drains, the bathroom or an external source. It was a little off-putting. We were visiting relatives nearby and thus we only slept and had breakfast in the hotel. The breakfasts were excellent and, couldn't be bettered for choice, quantity or quality.
