I've returned here 3 times, I just love this place - the location, the people, the service, free parking, rooftop restaurant and lounge. The generator broke on this visit and even then the service and communication was great!

Situated at the Sea Point Promenade facing the Atlantic coastline, The Winchester Hotel features a pool and an Italian-style courtyard surrounded by palm trees and fountains. Great location and a beautiful place to spend vacation in Cape Town. The room and bathroom were great. The staff were very friendly.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, within walking distance to the beach, shops, and an array of amazing restaurants. The penthouse suite offered stunning views, and the rooms were exceptionally clean - we've never stayed in a hotel that was cleaned so thoroughly! The staff were all caring and friendly, with a special shoutout to Zim, who was truly an angel. She greeted us with a huge smile every day, helped us navigate the city, provided suggestions for rainy day activities, and even assisted us during a medical emergency. Breakfasts were delicious, highlighting baked beans - the best we've ever had. Despite the hotel being affected by load-shedding, it was not a problem, as the Wi-Fi and main lights still worked. There were rechargeable lights in the rooms, and the schedule was provided at the reception and in the elevator. We actually found the lack of power to be a romantic touch, allowing us to spend quality time together without any distractions. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would like to extend our thanks to the hotel staff for their hospitality. One More Thing: Wow, Cape Town is an absolute marvel! We were completely blown away by its stunning beauty, charm and the warmth of its people – it's beyond words.
