Located at the gateway to San Francisco’s Chinatown, Grant Plaza Hotel features guest rooms with free WiFi and a 24-hour desk service. i’m giving this hotel a 10! why? Because I see a lot of poor reviews and they are undeserved. This hotel is excellent value for money. The room is very large for the price we pay. The bathroom was spotless. there are plugs all over the room, including USB ones.The staff is super friendly and helpful. The location is amazing. The restaurants nearby are great if you like Asian food. Yes there is a bit of noise from the street, but given the price you pay for the room it should not bother you. Yes the bed is a little hard, but it’s very comfortable. The people who complain about those two things want a different class of a hotel and they should not stay here. I would definitely come back to this hotel.

Excellent. What a budget hotel should be. Staff was great, all 4 of them, even the security guy was nice. Room was clean, bathroom was clean despite of being shared. Great location. they kept my bags locked safely before and after check in and out for no extra charge.
