For the breakfast there was a lot of food to choose, like waffels, eggs, ham, cheese, vegetable, yoghurt or fruits. The bed was really spacious and comfortable. Location was great, it is near 3 metro stations and really near to the city centre-Manhattan.

The subway is quite close, and the Roosevelt island also. The selection of breakfast is not much, but it is better then the average in NY. Stuff is nice and helpful.

Friendly staff, excellent location (I totally disagree with other comments claiming that the walk to the subway is long - it isn't, and it's a nice walk; plenty of restaurants in the vicinity and numerous transport links. We especially enjoyed taking the Q32 bus directly across the bridge to Central Park - very safe, never crowded, and a great way to interact with the locals! To reach the Q32 bus, walk to the right when exiting the hotel, go up the road, then turn right, walk straight two blocks, catch the bus by the gas station - super easy and fun.
